May Passover’s message of freedom bring us and the world closer to redemption.
Note: There will be no evening minyan for Pesah I or II.
For intermediate days this year, Monday and Tuesday, morning minyan will begin at 7:00 am.
*Note: These will be in the Sanctuary and streamed, and not on Zoom.
Friday, March 27th
Take a break from cleaning and join us for Shabbat dinner! All are invited to this community dinner, before Passover begins, to celebrate Shabbat and Passover! All the food will be kosher for Pesah except the hallah.
The cost is $22 for adults and $16 for children 17 years old or younger. No charge for children 3 and under. Max for families is $80. If you or your family are currently facing challenges paying for dinner, please reach out via email to rceline@templeemunah.org. Click here to make sure you’re registered!
One of the main elements of the holiday is the full removal of all leavened products from your possession. Hametz is defined as any product from wheat, barley, rye, oats, or spelt which was allowed to rise (i.e. bread, crackers, etc.). This is accomplished in two ways: outright disposal of all hametz products or the sale of your hametz to a person who is not Jewish. If you would like Temple Emunah to organize the sale of your hametz, please fill out this form by Tuesday, March 31st at 9 am to appoint Rabbi Lerner as your sale representative.
When you sell your hametz, it is traditional to participate in the mitzvah of donating Ma’ot Hittim (wheat money) to help those in need to buy kosher for Passover foods and to combat hunger in general.
Preparing for Pesah can be daunting! See the Rabbinical Assembly’s thorough and helpful guide on how to prepare your home, kitchen, and family for this important holiday.

Sunday, March 22nd, 11 am-12:30 pm in the Courtyard
Hametz on your pan? No problem, man!
Bring your cookware, silverware, and stainless steel items to our Boil-a-thon in the Courtyard and we will kasher them for Passover.
Wednesday, April 1st, 7:00 am Services, 8:00 am Breakfast
All, especially first born children, are invited to join for learning and breakfast before the beginning of Pesah. Rabbi Willis will teach “First Born and First Fruits: Siyyum on Mishnah Zeraim.” Thank you to the Shirazi family for sponsoring the Seudat mitzvah breakfast in memory of Nadia Shirazi z”l.

We are excited to welcome local children’s book author Jane Sutton! She will read her latest Passover story, Zayde Babysits before Passover, which is the winner of a Grinspoon Jewish Story Award and a PJ Library Selection! Kids 0-8, parents, friends, and (especially silly) grandparents are all invited to join in the fun!
