Walk the Labyrinth and Prepare for Shavuot

Come learn about labyrinths and their use in Jewish practice. Labyrinths, unicursal paths leading to a central space, are used for contemplation, to access inner wisdom, to answer personal questions, and to set intentions. In earlier times, they were used in place of pilgrimages to Jerusalem by those who couldn’t make the spiritual journey physically. Our facilitator, Matia Rania Angelou, was introduced to the use of labyrinths in the 1990s and has used the labyrinth in her yard as a contemplative practice for over 25 years. We will welcome Sivan with its Tikkun and healing energy of the subconscious as we prepare for the pilgrimage holiday of Shavuot. The program will be about two hours.
