Linda Skolnik will be leading a discussion of As a Jew – Reclaiming Our Story From Those Who Blame, Shame, and Try to Erase Us by Sarah Hurwitz. Please join us for an engaging discussion of this insightful book. As a Jew is a personal and historical exploration of reclaiming Jewish identity. The former White House speechwriter examines how historical and modern antisemitism causes Jews to feel shame, disconnect from their heritage, and downplay their identity, and encourages a shift toward proud, knowledgeable, and joy-filled Jewish living.
